Internship as online marketing assistant, based in Beijing. US-based nutraceutical e-commerce company manufacturing and marketing custom made
supplements to the North American market. The company is 2 year old start up venture with
excellent funding and a solid management team. There exist future plans for flotation and
expansion into other international markets. Headquartered in California and the
manufacturing facility is located there as well. The company's operational teams are based in
Beijing to draw upon the medical and technical expertise in China and to foster close ties with
our financial partners in China. The workforce in Beijing is predominantly local Chinese
although there is staff from Canada, the UK and Singapore. Our website and any marketing
documentation is all in English but as a reflection of the local/foreign ratio the office language
is mainly Chinese, although most of the company speaks good English. As our target market
is North America – we have a need for native English speakers to support our marketing, sales
and customer service operations. The company's CEO comes from a dot com background and
the office layout, policies, working attitude and young, tech savvy staff reflects this. We
consider ourselves a web 2.0 company and we are also the only company supplying value
custom made supplements on a large scale in the world. |

| The internship: |
| - Plan and negotiate online and print advertising campaigns |
| - Assist in the execution of search engine optimization strategy |
| - Contribute copy for websites and newsletters |
| - Find and manage relationships with partner websites |
- Take part in new application development and testing Support Sales and Customer Services
teams as necessary |
| |
| Intern Qualifications: |
| 1. Business, Marketing, IT degree OR at least 1 years Sales, Marketing, Search Engine
Marketing, PR or Copywriting experience |
| 2. Excellent English skills – reading, writing and spoken. |
| 3. Good overall IT skills |
| 4. Knowledge of the Internet, search engines and internet technology an advantage and
willingness to learn new technologies and keep on top of SEM trends |
